Radiesse, formerly known as Radiance, consists of calcium hydroxylapatite, which
is a normal constituent of human bone and teeth. It corrects dynamic lines of facial
expression and scars. It is used to plump the lips. Whereas most other available
products such as Collagen or Restylane last from 3 to 6 months, Radiance has the
potential to last for 1 to 5 years. Allergy pretesting is not required.
